New Year New Me

Anyone else just get the ick when you hear this, or just me? 

Why does it take a date on a calendar to dictate a major life change? 

Shouldn't we be able to decide we don't like something in our life and change it immediately? 

Don't like your job, get a new one. 

Don't like your home, make changes. 

Don't like your body, change it. 

Don't like the way someone treats you, remove them. 

There are too many things in life we have no control over, to waste time suffering in the things we can.
